Celebrating New Beginnings in Ministry
Hey everyone! I am thrilled to share my very first article, marking the culmination of five months of diligent preparation. It is with great enthusiasm that I present updates on the dynamic happenings within our State's ministry.
Engaging Community Conversations
Recently, I had the privilege of engaging in insightful conversations with several influential figures in our community. One standout discussion was with Mandy, who is currently working on an article focused on the experiences of pastor's wives. Her unique perspective will offer a genuine glimpse into the heart of ministry, highlighting the vital role these incredible women play within our churches.
Additionally, I had the opportunity to talk with Elisa at Cornerstone in Kalispell, Montana. She is eager to share her insights on the exciting initiatives taking place among the youth this summer. Her forthcoming article promises to be an excellent resource for understanding the vibrancy of youth ministry in our state.
Reflecting on Personal Journeys
On a personal note, I am also collaborating with various pastors across Montana. In recent conversations, I have learned about their current realities and challenges in ministry. It is my hope that I can convey the true heart of ministry in Montana, revealing not only the struggles but also the victories that come with the territory.
As we celebrate these journeys, there is good news regarding Frank Vargas, the senior pastor at Active Word Ministries, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. We are relieved to report that after surgery, follow-up scans confirmed he is cancer-free! This news brings great joy and hope to our community.
Another exciting development involves Justin Michels, who is planning a return to Mongolia. He is currently in the process of raising funds to support this mission. If you feel led to contribute to his endeavors, I encourage you to reach out to him and join in supporting this important work.
A New Chapter Ahead
Lastly, I want to share my own journey. I was commissioned in May and have been offered a position in Great Falls, Montana, where I will be participating in a mentorship program alongside Justin Michels and his wife Tammi. My wife Rae and I are eagerly anticipating this new chapter in our lives and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to ministry in Great Falls. Your prayers for our journey would be greatly appreciated!
In closing, there is so much to look forward to as we embrace new beginnings, share valuable stories, and foster a supportive community in ministry. Let us continue to uplift one another as we navigate the path ahead!
